Licensed Deck Builder Raleigh, NC
We are a licensed deck builder in Raleigh, NC that crafts more than elaborate structures – we create outdoor spaces that offer comfortable designs and places of lasting memories. Our deck-building services inspire and enable you to enjoy your outdoor spaces again! Our builds range from pergolas to arbors and so much more!
As a deck contractor, we also believe that we help develop and reunite relations by building fun areas of relaxation. Imagine having a deck that you can walk on barefoot without the chance of getting a splinter. How about a deck that you don’t have to stain and requires little maintenance? Our deck builds range from using composite materials, premium treated lumber, and exotic hardwoods. We will help you discern deck materials that are most fitting for your needs!
If you have an existing deck, we will evaluate the substructure to see if it’s salvageable. In many cases, if the floor joists, posts, and majority of the support systems are in tack, we can replace the horizontal planks found on the floor, handrails, and steps making your deck look new again.

Kiln-dried (KDA) treated lumber provides the ability to stain or seal immediately after installation. It is lighter weight, preshrunk, and limits the risk of creating significant gaps.
Ground contact treated lumber is recommended for any deck or structures less than two feet from the ground. Ground contact lumber has a higher copper count resulting in more resistance to decay.
Premium treated lumber has fewer knots and imperfections than standard, also known as number two lumber. For this reason, premium lumber is also less likely to check or split.
Composite deck floor planks offer a wide range of advantages. A solid, entirely capped composite deck board provides the rigidity and look of natural wood while resisting insects and decay better than softwoods.
PVC deck boards are the most impervious deck boards available. The fully caped option offers beauty above and below your deck.
Durable natural wood deck materials range from Ipe, Western Red Cedar, Black Locust, Sassafras, Black Walnut, and Eastern Juniper. These widely forgotten woods are much less susceptible to moisture, insects, rot, and decay and, when maintained properly, can last upwards of 25 to 35 years.
